Learning and teaching foreign skills, specially English is one the main gaols of our SIS International schools. This not only brings openness to the world in young minds but also values and standards in this rapidly growing Era of globalisation.
The students of IGS Glauchau start intensive English learning from beginning of their Elementary school. Till they reach fourth grade they are able to take their first recognised examination in the English language i.e TELC A1 Junior.
This year exam was held on 18th of April. The students were well prepared for the exam both in written and oral form. 60 students appeared in the test and it started at 7:40 in the morning with the written and listening parts and ended at around 12:00 with individual speaking assessments. The kids had taken part with full enthusiasm and motivation and now they are anxiously waiting for the results.
After receiving their first ever English language certification, not only they will become more confident about their capabilities but they will also carry on this learning process with more courage.
