On 24.10.2024, a visit from children from the "Young and Old" working group at the IGS Glauchau was once again on the agenda at our Diakonie day care facility. As always, there was great anticipation for the children. But when we told them about a surprise, the senior citizens' curiosity was aroused. They puzzled and speculated about what the children had come up with. When our visit arrived at around 1 p.m. and our day care guests were presented with the surprise in the form of three magical, adorable and cuddly alpacas, they were delighted. In bright sunshine, we set off for a short walk with the children and the animals. We cuddled, marveled, laughed and gathered information about these beautiful animals. Some of our guests kept shaking their heads and could hardly believe that they could experience something so beautiful. It was a joy to see our senior citizens so happy and impressed. Many thanks to the AG "Young and Old" for making this possible for our guests.
