"Autumn, autumn, autumn is here."
Which trees grow in our forests and which animals can be found there? These questions were the topic of the Year 2 project week. The children enjoyed learning lots of interesting information and creating their own autumnal leaves. But of course this week was not just spent in the classroom. Together with their teachers and educators, the classes went on short autumn walks where they were able to put what they had learned directly into practice. They identified trees and collected their fruit. The children also created a beautiful mandala from the natural materials they had collected. Of course, a delicious class breakfast was also a must. The project week was rounded off with the annual autumn run within the school, in which all the children successfully took part.
