Am 11. Juni fand der sportliche Abschluss des Schuljahres statt. In den Disziplinen Sprint, Weitsprung und Ball-Weitwurf wurden die Besten jeder Klassenstufe gesucht.

Around the world in 3 days? It‘s possible! From the 5th to the 7th of June 2024, our 3rd graders took part in the annual Language Camp of the International Primary School Glauchau.

Ein dreitägiges Kindertagsprojekt bildete den Abschluss unseres Festjahres anlässlich des zwanzigjährigen Bestehens der IGS. Gemeinsam mit der Firma Federwolf erkundeten die Kinder die Themen Märchen und Leben im Mittelalter.

What could make a school building more colourful and beautiful than decorating it with home-made tiles? This year all 3rd and 4th graders were invited to participate in a school art project to create tiles for the entrance of the school building. The aim of the art project, a tile mosaic, was to show a world where man and nature live in harmony.

Am 22.05.2024 stand ein besonderes Programm auf dem Tagesplan der Dritt- und Viertklässler der IGS. „Das wandelnde Museum“ war mit einem innovativen Hörspiel zum Mitmachen, entwickelt von der Künstlergruppe LIGNA, zu Besuch.

Auch in diesem Schuljahr ist unsere Schule wieder sportlich unterwegs und konnte bereits einige Erfolge erzielen. Los ging die „Wettkampfsaison“ am 13. Dezember 2023 mit dem Vielseitigkeitswettkampf in Meerane. Hier traten Mannschaften aus 9 verschiedenen Schulen an.
