At the beginning of July, Class 3 of the International Primary School in Glauchau visited the German Red Cross in Glauchau. As part of their science lessons, the children learned about the initial treatment of cuts, lacerations and broken bones. This was first shown to the students by means of explanatory videos based on everyday situations. Then, under the guidance of Ms. Harlaß, the children were able to practice applying plasters and suitable bandages themselves, whereby adherence to the rescue chain also played an important role. In addition, the students were able to try out the application of the stable lateral position. The children had a lot of fun during this course and were able to learn a lot. At the end, everyone received a certificate for successful participation in the course.
