Our trip to the stars

An exciting project day lies behind the children of the IGS. On February 8, the mobile planetarium of the Zeiss Planetarium from Jena visited us. It was set up as a large dome in the gymnasium and always offered space for two to three classes. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the starry sky and watched different films on astronomy topics according to our age. For example, the first classes traveled into space with Käpt'n Schnuppe and visited the other planets of our solar system. The children were enthusiastic about what they were doing.

This was financed and presented by the Lions Club Glauchau. With the proceeds of its Advent calendar campaign, it made these exciting and educational presentations possible for numerous children's facilities in the region. We would like to thank the LIONS Club Glauchau very much.
