On Saturday, March 9, 2024, the doors of the International Primary School were open.
We teachers and educators, together with the participating pupils, were delighted to welcome a good number of relatives and friends as well as visitors who wanted to get to know our school.
As always, everything outside and inside was decorated and prepared for a friendly welcome. Pupils young and old had practiced singing and dancing with great enthusiasm for the opening event, which marked the beginning of our Open Day. On all four levels of the school building, you could stroll through the classrooms and after-school care rooms, where you could learn about a particular subject area, special methods and techniques such as foreign language learning from the very beginning, the all-day programs or our concept. An obstacle course was set up in the gymnasium, inviting visitors to try it out with the support of sports teachers. The parents and students provided refreshments, both savory and sweet. If you didn't want to explore everything on your own, you could take a guided tour of the building from the prepared students and get advice from parents at an extra stand. Our own presentations were rounded off by stands from external associations or companies with which we are connected in our everyday school life.
