Mini computer gives great pleasure

School again, and during the vacations? The participants of the Calliope Mini Workshop certainly didn't have that attitude. Instead, the three-day program included lots of fun, creativity, good humor and music. With the help of the Calliope Mini computer, each participant became a real game developer. There were several projects to choose from. The hot wire in the flower pot", a "car racing track" or a basketball game as an adding machine, there was something for everyone. After we had programmed the game and incorporated many of the participants' own ideas and implementations into the project, the game was assembled with manual dexterity and connected to the Calliope Mini. The highlight was, of course, trying it out at the end. Who could hit the most baskets? Who could guide the hot wire from one side to the other without touching it? The enthusiasm and curiosity of the other after-school children for the premiere were aroused and playing together made the workshop a special experience for every participant.
